The sake ware collection features Chōjū-jinbutsu-giga (鳥獣人物戯画), commonly shortened to Chōjū-giga (鳥獣戯画, "Animal Caricatures") that is a famous set of four picture scrolls belonging to Kōzan-ji (高山寺) in Kyoto, Japan. The scrolls are the earliest in a linear monochrome drawing style, which is credited as the first Japanese manga masterpieces.
